Here is a review we got on Tripadvisor on 19 AUG 2015 , written by a family from Germany who stayed in the apartment for 15 nights -
“Perfect stay at a perfect apartment”
5 of 5 starsReviewed yesterday for a stay in August 2015 NEW
We travel to Israel once a year, usually we stay in Haifa but this time we decided to travel to Nahariya which is a beautiful city in the North. As soon as I saw the pictures I wanted to rent this apartment. And we did not regret it. The apartment looks exactly as in the pictures. And Ronen was a perfect Host, even before we decided to rent it, he answered all our questions (and we had a lot) delightful. When we arrived the fridge was filled with fresh fruit and Ronan showed us around and handed us the keys.
The apartment comes with a carport (which is not announced in the ad, but is very important, because it is great just to drive onto the yard).

As I said we are no new Israel-Tavellers but I never had an apartment that tidy and clean as this one. During our two-week-stay we did not see a single bug or Juk inside. That's because it has mosquito-protection all around.
We are a family of four with two teenage Boys and so I can say, this accommodation is completely teenager-aproved, which possibly relays also to the great Wify.

The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double-bed and one with two single beds, but if necessary there is also the possibility to sleep in the living room.
The living room is comfortable with a couch and two armchairs. Also, thee is an open kitchen with a bar-table and four chairs. The fridge is as big as an own room and has also a huge freezer. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook and bake for a for-people-family. What I really appreciated was that salt, pepper and some other spices where available.
One of the best things (the best one I will tell later) are the air-condtions. Every room has one and it is not just blowing cool air inside, you can regulate it so that you wont freeze to ice (we Germans are not used to Air-Conditions and I personally do not like them very much) and they are not loud at all. But even without Air-Condition this apartment is quite cool.
Also, there is a desk where to work or station your computer. And if you like, there is also a piano. I cannot tell you anything about that, because we do not know how to play it, but it looks very nice.
Now the best part....the Bathrooms, there are two of it. And they are great with rain shower and just as new and clean as everything else.

As I said, we had a lot of questions before and during our stay. Ronan answered all our mails literally the minute I pushed the send button. That was just amaizing.
There is just one thing that could be better, and that is the Garden, which is not finished yet. One can sit in the Yard, but there is just shadow. There is a huge garden around and if there would be a table or a place to sit it would be perfect.
But the Sea is a ten-minutes-walk away, if you like to go to the protected area it takes some minutes more. The next supermarket is within a tree-minutes-walk.

We enjoyed the stay very much and considered this place the best place we rented in Israel so far and we are pretty sure to rent it again.

As everyone should have realized, English is not my mother language so I am gonna write something in German as well.

The Neighborhood

The area:
The Rosh HaNikra grottos are cavernous tunnels formed by sea action on the soft chalk rock. The total length is some 200 meters. They branch off in various directions with some interconnecting segments. In the past, the only access to them was from the sea and experienced divers were the only ones capable of visiting. Today a cable car takes visitors down to see the grottos.

Akko:
The city’s fascinating historical heritage, a rare blend of East and West, authentic sights from the past, a unique meeting place of art and religion alongside the remains of various cultures – all these have made Acre one of the most important cities of the ancient world.

The walls of the city, its fortresses and citadels, its churches and mosques and the other buildings within its boundaries, tell the history of the many rulers who governed it and fought for it, who built the city and glorified it.

Acre’s most prominent sites include ruins from the Hellenistic-Roman period and buildings from the Crusader and Ottoman periods: Al Jazar Mosque, the buildings of the Order of Saint John, the subterranean Crusader city, Khan Al Omdan, the Turkish Baths (which now house the municipal museum), the Bahai Temple and more.
