The neighborhood is very charming, with artists, colors and smells from the nearby Carmel market. Within a short walk, you may watch the sunrise/sunset on the beach, and enjoy the cafes by the water. The old city of Jaffa is nearby, and the city bikes are available for riding around as well.

For the shoppers, the Dizengoff Center Mall is a 10 minute walk, along with other street shops on the nearby avenues, including: Allenby st, King George st, Sheinkin st, and Bograshov st.

There is much public transporation nearby, buses run on Allenby st (a 2 min walk) to different parts of the city, though all the central areas are within walking range.
